Race vs. Iowa, Cornell, Bucknell, Dartmouth, Buffalo, Rhode Island

Pictures from Carole and Dave Baker.

Great racing shots from shore. The race course is so close to the shore that you are practically standing one lane over from the racing. We had great support from parents and family. We also enjoyed the giant cookie....see pics!

Guth Cam

Ok, we finally have a video of A Day in the Life of Laura Guth. The video will show Guth at weights, walking or dancing around campus, traveling to practice, in a boat, at meals, and studying. We have it on our youtube account.

From 5th to 3rd

Thanks to Carole Baker and her video and photography expertise, we have some great footage of the sprint of the Varsity 4+ finals at Knecht Cup. This was a field of 7 and the boat was in 5th place at the 1000m mark. Congratulations girls on a great strong second thousand and sprint sequence!

Class of 2015

Duke rowing head coach Robyn Horner announced on Thursday the signing of Brielle Batesko, Sophia Blair, Alex Enzor, Patricia Kolman, Kara Risser, Julie Rohde, and Karolina Wadolowska to join the Blue Devils for the 2011-12 season.

"This class will be really special to our program," said Horner. "They are all hard-working athletes who will add immediately to our program's speed, but even more so to fostering our culture of excellence. We were very selective in finding rowers that understand our high reaching goals and who want to be apart of the experience to take our program to new heights."
